Changes for the Hammon's

Change #1: There are a ton of cute and fancy ways to break the news but I like to just come out and say it, Jason and I are expecting!

I know, it's big. We found out the last week in October and now I am currently 18 weeks pregnant. (these pics were taken at 15 weeks so I'm just a little bit bigger now) That means our baby is due July 6th. We'll find out the gender in two weeks! Don't worry, I have a lot to say on this subject and there will be more posts coming soon. Right now I can say we are very excited/scared/wondering what we got ourselves into but mostly really excited :)

Change #2: I cut my hair short over Christmas and I'm loving it.

Change #3: I made the really big decision that I won't be going to the graduate school program that I got accepted to. This was probably one of the hardest decisions of my life (next to getting married). The program was supposed to start the week before Martin Luther King day and I made my decision the Tuesday before school would have started. To some this might seem like a no brainer and to others I know they think I'm throwing my life away. Believe me this decision was not made lightly. I think I'll write a post on this but I have to figure out how to put it all into words. Ultimately though I feel really good about my decision and I'm really excited.

Change #4: So since I'm not going to school I decided to take money I had been saving and buy a Cannon DSLR SL1 to treat myself. I'm loving it but I'm even more loving that Jason loves to use it which means I get pictures taken of me for a change. Let's face it, that's the real reason I got it ;) 

I know this is only the beginning of our lives changing in 2014 when our family of 2 becomes a family of 3 so 2014 bring it on.
